WHO WE ARE
The Living Picture Company, Shillong, was conceived with a vision of bringing professionalism into the media and communication Industry of the North East. Having garnered experiences for more than ten years in the field of Advertising and Marketing within the commercial capital of India (Mumbai) and it’s metro cities, the advertising agency (combined with a production unit) tries to assemble the technology, the business know-how and the upcoming trends of the electronic, print and visual media of India and the world, to effectively tackle and resolve issues in the health and social sectors of the region, and in particular Meghalaya. Prioritizing objectives, outlining strategic approach and identifying specific target groups, the advertising agency attempts to highlight the vital role and function of mass media as a developmental tool which can bring behaviour change across all sections of society and directly affect the socio-economic development of that area.
OUR WORK
The Living Picture Company has undertaken projects that include documentary films for various TV stations, programme production centers, state and central government departments, as well as films for NGOs and developing IEC materials and Media Consultancy for local NGOs. The subjects of the various projects worked on ranges from implementing IEC/BCC Campaign for government organizations to making documentaries on social issues and rural community development.
